“ Amazing wild boar steak, and homemade cheesecake is phenomenal. ”
“ Wonderful place for dinner. The service was impeccable, a shoutout to Carlos (?) and who was the best waiter we had during or entire northern Spain trip. Both the vegetarian and non-vegetarian options were super delicious and amazing value for money. Absolute must visit if/when in the region. ”
“ This perfectly situated restaurant in the middle of town has some incredible food! The wild boar with homemade chilli jam is absolutely divine. We’ve been to Spain twice and been here four times, not to mention the super friendly staff and big drink measures! ”
“ Came by unexpectedly on a Thursday and had no issue to find a table outside. The menu, although not cheap, for a spanish pueblo, is worth every penny. (€19/person). We opted for the daily menu and had the fabada asturiana and a pote Taversiano as primeros, bacalao a la Viscaina and cabrito as segundos. Portions served are quite large. Everything was superb. The service was outstanding. Higly recomended. ”
“ Great atmosphere, amazing food and very friendly staff! Highly recommended ”
“ Traditional Asturian restaurant located in the town Center. Surrounded by other small restaurants and cafes, this place is ideal for tourists. The menu is simple and the staff is really friendly and helpful. We went for the stew and the fried pork sausage. Both delicious and served in pretty generous portions. The bread comes with the service. Super efficient and quick staff. The food came within minutes from ordering it and it was hot as expected. We sat in one of the rooms indoor. But if you’re lucky you can get a seat on the front porch. ”
“ The restaurant down in the valley is well known for the local specialty, Fabada Asturiana — absolutely delicious and huge of course — and the arroz con leche made for the perfect sweet ending. The restaurant has been around for over 50 years. This family-run eatery was born from a desire to carry on grandma’s recipes: hearty stews, local sausages, wild game — all made with love and regional ingredients. The tradition clearly lives on how wonderful. Looks like we might be back to go fly fishing! ”
“ Very friendly staff that offer menu suggestions to travelers visiting the area. We never left hungry and visited multiple times during our stay. Favorites were the fabas with clams, pote, and rabo guisado. ”
